It seems logical that this content still would not get to explicit either, since the show is probably aiming for an adolescent audience, so it basically stops at underwear, at least the things we see, implied of course are many other things. The similarities between Scum’s wish and shows like Toradora for example are evident almost the entire time, if there’s one thing that really sets this anime apart from many others it’s the sheer amount of kiss, make out and sex scenes that are shown every episode. The story feels alright to me, if there’s a problem I could bring up it would probably be that it did not feel unique at all. There is nothing to complain about concerning the art direction, the beautiful shots that Masaomi Andou creates really do highlight the beautiful and visceral style in which the environment is realized, whenever we get overviews of the city it looks absolutely breath-taking and is often set up so nicely that the immersion is pretty high almost everytime. The huge, shiny eyes of the characters look awesome throughout the entire runtime of the show and the outer appearance of them in general is just soft and smooth, which suggests a very tender and gentle drawing style. Also stunning were character design by Keiko Kurosawa which looked absolutely adorable, especially if you consider that Keiko has in the past only worked as chief animation director or on the sub character design and has only done the character design for an entire show two times before he definitely leaves a strong impression with the first show he has worked on that has gotten this popular. One thing that is definitely striking about this anime that immediately caught my attention in the first episode was direction, to be exact the split-screens that would just endure a few seconds and the picture interludes that managed to smoothly transfer the audience from one scene to another. Since then he has been working with even greater source material on the scripts of Konosuba and is currently working on Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Uezu has worked together with Lerche numerous times in the past for Assassination Classroom and Danganronpa, after he became popular through his contributions to beloved shows such as Katanagatari and Akame Ga Kill.
#KUZU NO HONKAI MANGA ENDING SERIES#
The series composition was done by Makoto Uezu who has been working on scripts and composition of anime since the early 2000’s but only started to gain attention around 2007 when he worked on School Days, which may not be considered to be great, but certainly still has cult status amongst fans. Director of the anime was Masaomi Andou who has worked with more famous and well-established anime studios like Sunrise and A-1 Pictures before as an director of several episodes Fairy Tail and even the entire second season of White Album, but at the same time has also previously worked with Lerche as the director of Gakkougurashi. The anime adaptation was managed by studio Lerche which has been thus far mostly known for their work on horror and suspense anime with some slight comedy aspects spread across them like Danganronpa, Assassination Classroom and Gakkougurashi. Since the manga is officially done there probably won’t be a second season, but maybe we’ll get some OVA in the future which won’t be so far-fetched considering the massive reception amongst the audience, especially younger people. The anime television adaptation started on January 12 and concluded on March 30, 2017. The manga was first published on Septemand ended on March 25, 2017.
